To promote clean and green environment, National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit III of Don Bosco College Maram (DBC), Senapati District, Manipur organized cleanliness drive at adjoining areas of the college on August 17

The college divided volunteers into three groups Unit I, Unit II and Unit III comprising of degree students and higher secondary students of Arts and Commerce stream respectively.

Earlier, Unit III planted 54 saplings of cherry and 45 monkey rice saplings at its adopted village Kabinam Maram. The villages adopted by Unit I and Unit II are Ramlung and Maram Khullen. 

Altogether, 65 volunteers of Unit III participated in the cleanliness drive in adjoining areas of the college were namely; Kavanam village, Maram Centre village, Sagongbam village, Christian colony, and Ramlung village. 

The program coordinators for the Units were Sr. Sweta, Asst. Prof Shamsundar and Asst. Prof. John Britto. The drive was conducted under the leadership of the Unit captains Nganaowon Mayashang and M.Luihing of class 12 Arts.
