NSUP warns Nagas living in Pune against immoral activities

Naga Students’ Union Pune (NSUP) has warned the Nagas living in Pune not to involve in immoral activities, saying in the past years there has been several Spas that had been raided in and around Pune involving Naga brothers and sisters.

In a press release, NSUP president Lulu N Lohe informed the general public about the events connected to sex racket and prostitution run by Nagas and also cases involving Nagas working in establishments that runs for immoral trafficking.

NSUP pointed out that there has been around seven cases where Naga members were caught red-handed for carrying out illegal establishments.

Claiming that the Spa raids would continue, the NSUP has warned those responsible who were still involved in such illegal activities to stop immediately. Asserting that it stands with the law, the union said it would not work otherwise to save any members who were directly or indirectly involved in such illegal activities. NSUP also stated that it would not protect any of the accused.

Further, the union has appealed to the institutions sending students for job placement or job training to do thorough background check on the establishments in the city or contact the union to do the same. NSUP stated that in the past year it came across the cases involving students from Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre (NTTC). 

In this regard, NSUP appealed to NTTC or any other training institutions sending students to the city to conduct thorough verification of the companies or establishment before associating with them. 

The union also appealed to all the parents who were sending their children to the city to get in touch with its executive members beforehand to ensure the safety and security of their children.
