Nagaland State Village Development Board Association (NSVDBA) has asked all beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme under 74 Rural Development (RD) blocks, who have received first allocation, to utilise the benefit and construct the house according to guidelines of the scheme.

In a press release NSVDBA president, Tohoshe Awomi and general secretary, Manthungo Kikon have asked the beneficiaries to also enable the department to geo-tag, so that the government of India can release the second phase allocation of the scheme to the beneficiaries.
NSVDBA said due to the inability of the department to geo-tag and submit necessary documentation the Centre has stalled the second phase allocation.
In this regard, NSVDBA has appealed all Block Development Officers (BDOs) of 74 RD Blocks to be stationed at their place of posting and steer the VDBs and take necessary measures for the early completion of all the necessary documentation and geo-tagging for early release of the allocation.
