NTF excels in international c’ship

Taekwon-do players from Nagaland Taekwon-do Federation (ITF), who represented India at the 6th South Asian ITF Taekwon-do Championship in Kathmandu, Nepal, won 7 medals. The team from Nagaland won a gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
Haden Odyuo won the gold medal in individual sparring. 
The silver medal winners are Kupto H Assumi (individual sparring), Shanchothung Ngullie (individual sparring) and Shingyieh Y. Konyak (female group sparring). Shingyieh Yalso won a broze medal in individual sparring. The other bronze medal winners are Pika H. Yepthomi (individual sparring) and Kamal Dhar (individual sparring).  
The team was led by team coach Sujit Roy. He was adjudged the best referee of the championship and was awarded with momento, certificate and cash.
