NVUZ organizes New Year celebration

Ngozubomi Village Union Zunheboto (NUVZ) town organised a New Year celebration 2020 on January 1 at the residence of ZTSBC associate pastor, Khehoto Yeptho, south point east colony. 

A press release from media in-charge, Bombo K Yeptho stated that extension officer sericulture, directorate Kohima, Jepika h. Yepthomi was the guest of honour for the event.
Jepika H. Yepthomi while exhorting the gathering asked to focus on unity. He reminded that gathering should not be only for food and drinks, but to focus on unity love, knowing one another and let the upcoming generation know one another as one family. “We should focus on quality education, certificate itself will not help, what you know, what you can do with what you learn is what you should focus on”, he remarked.
Furthermore, Yepthomi stressed on the transparency and just administration of the upcoming governance which will be the standard of future administration, for which students need not be frustrated for not being able to get a fair job and opportunity. He also point out some of the positive and negative impact of use and misuse of latest gadgets such as computer and mobiles, not among the youth but even the parents should be wise in using these technologies, as a result of misusing of these media’s, he said that there have been lots of negative things affecting studies, work, unity, fellowship, friendship becoming superficial shallow and unproductive.
Earlier the programme was enthralled in the opening ceremony by Zina, Eklino and special song presented by Linokivi T Aomi, New Year feast was graced by associate pastor ZTSBC, Khehoto Yeotho.
Meanwhile, union elected new team of office bearers which will be led by Hekato K Yeptho as chairman, Toiho Aomi as vice chairman along with three advisors and three other members.
