Organisations condemn murder incident

Lotha Public Organization (LPO), GB Union Sardar Dimapur (GBUSD) and Dimapur Urban Colonies Chairmen’s Federation (DUCCF) have respectively condemned the brutal murder of a 17-year old minor girl on October 22 in Dimapur. 

LPO: Lotha Public Organization (LPO) in a condemnation note by LPO chairman, Sulanthung Humtsoe and vice president, Phyobemo Odyuo has appealed the law enforcing authorities to give strictest punishment to the “barbaric men” who have carried out such a horrific inhuman act on a young life and caused her family irreparable pain. LPO also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family. 

GBUSD & DUCCF: The GB Union Sardar Dimapur (GBUSD) and Dimapur Urban Colonies Chairmen’s Federation (DUCCF) in a joint condemnation by president M. Y. Ngullie (GBUSD) and president Tsenthungo Nymao (DUCCF) stated that, while many have condemned this act of horror, the two organisations also requested the law enforcing authorities to give the strongest punishment, “that this kind of barbaric horror crime will not be repeated again by anyone.” While conveying condolences to the parents and family members of the child, the two bodies also condemned the intolerable, unacceptable inhuman act of crime. The organisations also appreciated the latest breakthrough and appealed the police investigation to leave no stone unturned. 

KPYO: Kacharigaon Phevima Youth Organisation (KPYO) in a condemnation note by president Medovizo Zao and general secretary Kehodi Yoho, has demanded severest punishment as per the law on the accused who was now in police custody and that no bail be granted. It also appreciated the law enforcing agency for prompt action and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
