Organisations condemn rape incident

Various organisations have voiced out strongly against the rape of a woman allegedly by Ashish Ghosh and Samuel Yep on April 28 at Netaji Colony, Dimapur. 

DDCF: Dimapur District Citizens' Forum (DDCF) in a condemnation through its media cell appealed the law enforcing agency to give the severest form of punishment as per the law of the land against such criminals. DDCF also appealed to the lawyers that no lawyer should fight for the release of such criminals who do not respect their fellow human being. 
DBS: Dimapur Bengali Samaj (DBS) in a condemnation by president K. K. Paul stated that it was astounded at this dreadful act and demanded that the accused on being proved guilty be punished, so that justice is delivered to the victim. DBS also demand severest punishment for the culprits.
DMC: Dimapur Meetei Council (DMC) in a condemnation by DMC president Sarat Thangjam stated that, the duo should be awarded befitting punishment as per the provision of law. DMC also conveyed speedy recovery to the victim.
