Organisations lodge complaint on rape case

In a delayed report, a woman of around 50 years, mother of two daughters was allegedly raped and robbed on October 13 at Rüsoma village.
A joint statement issued by Rüsoma Village Council (RVC) chairman Siekuolie Mezhiir, chairperson Rusoma Women Organisation (RWO) Diezetuonuo Mepfhiio and president Rusoma Village Youth Association (RVYO) Khrievolie Zhale condemned the heinous crime committed allegedly by one Vekhota Sapu on October 13 evening.
An FIR against the crime has been lodged at North Police Station, and the organizations have appealed the law enforcing agencies for immediate arrest of the alleged accused and award befitting punishment as per law of the land.
