Organisations observe ‘Gandhi Jayanti’

Leo Club of Dimapur (LCD) celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 by planting trees at the club premises, an initiative of Lions District 322D i.e, One District One Activity “each one plant one.”  A press release by PRO, LCD stated that saplings were planted by DG Lalita R. Khadria, Gopal Sharma, IPDP Rishab Chhabra, headed by Pravin Jain under the leadership of Vishal Patni. All the saplings were fenced with metallic net for maintenance.

SMHSS Dimapur: St. Mary’s Higher Sec. School (SMHSS) Dimapur dedicated the day for Swachh Bharat on October 2, along with Lions club of Dimapur Japfu and placed two iron permanent dustbins, near  Railway Station gate and opposite to Sikh temple and also took the responsibility to keep it clean every week.
