Organizations condemn murder of minor

KYSUD: Members of Kuki Youth and Students Union Dimapur (KYSUD) have strongly condemned the murder of their sister on the fateful evening of July 1. In a condemnation note issued by KYSUD general secretary, Thankgoulal Singson has urged Dimapur police to apprehend the culprit behind the brutal and atrocious crime at the earliest and bring justice to the bereaved family. The union stated that such acts of savagery should be considered and dealt with an iron hand. The union further promised its total cooperation towards the investigation.
GMS Phaipijang: Government Middle School (GMS) Phaipijang village head teacher, teachers and students have strongly condemned the cold blooded murder of its 12 year old minor student of class VI, on July 1, at around 6:30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m. by unknown person(s). A condemnation note issued by GMS Phaijang head teacher urged the district administration to expedite the investigation process to apprehend the culprit(s) at the earliest so as to bring justice to the victim, her family and the school community. On behalf of the school, the head teacher also conveyed his deepest sympathies to late Kimneihling Hangsing, family, relatives, friends, Phaipijang community and mentors. The release further added that “late Kimneihling Hangsing was one of the best students of her class. She has always excelled in her studies. She was loving and obedient and was loved by her teachers and friends in her school. The school community will miss her.”
