Orgns extend Tsungkamneo and Mimkut greetings

Organisations have conveyed Tsungkamneo and Mimkut greetings to all. Tsungkamneo is a festival celebrated by the Yimchungrü on January 15, while Mimkut is celebrated by the Kukis on January 17.

KIN: Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN) has extended Mimkut greetings to all Kuki people of Nagaland. KIN stated that unlike past years, Mimkut festival which falls on January 17 would not be celebrated everywhere this year due to the pandemic. However, it informed that people in rural areas had organized for a grand Mimkut Festival.
NSCN (R): NSCN/GPRN (reformation) extended greetings to Yimchungrü and Kukis on the occasion of Tsunkamneo and Mimkut festivals. A press release by NSCN (R) through its MIP stated that Nagas were in the threshold of peace, tranquillity and prosperity and as they venture into the era of new beginning, it prayed that Yimchungrü and Kuki brothers and sisters continue to be propagators of unity and brotherhood bonding amongst Nagas.
