Over 700 stranded people leave for home districts

In the final phase of inter-district movement, at least 717 people stranded in Dimapur left for their respective home districts on Thursday in 24 buses provided by the state government. The state government Thursday allowed transporting stranded citizens who could not return to their home districts in earlier phases.

As per the list provided by the police, four buses carrying 116 passengers left for Mon, two buses with 31 passengers left for Longleng, seven buses carrying 242 passengers left for Tuensang, four buses carrying 115 passengers left for Kiphire, one bus (28 passengers) left for Pungro, four buses (108 passengers) left for Noklak, one bus (30 passengers) left for Shamator and one bus (47 passengers) left for Pughoboto.
