Painting competition on Kargil war martyrs

To create awareness about the Kargil war martyrs among the younger generation on the occasion of 20th anniversary of Kargil Diwas under the theme, an online open painting competition is currently underway in the state. 

A press release from, PRO (DEF) Col C Konwer stated that the competition will be open for all school children upto the age of 18 years. The participants should make a painting and then digitize it by scanning or by using a high definition camera. The participants have been requested to send only the digitized version of the painting. The digitized painting should be A3 in size (11.69 by 16.54 inches) with a minimum 300 ppl resolution. The digitized painting should be sent to the mail ID honourpoint.in@gmail.com along with the contact details of the participant and his/her photo identity (adhar/school etc). The participants can send more than one painting, all the submitted paintings must be original and should not have been used anywhere else.

The participants should submit an undertaking (written and signed at the base of the painting) stating (“I certify that the work submitted by me is my own and honourpoint is free to utilize the same in any media or form”). The winner of first position will win a cash prize of Rs 20,000, second prize Rs 10,000 and five consolation prizes. The competition started from July 1 and last date of submission will be July 24.
