Panel to examine draft service rules

State government has constituted a committee to examine the draft service rules to control, monitor and guide the officers and staff under the establishments of Nagaland House in Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Shillong including VIP Guest House Kohima.

In a notification, home department stated that informed officers and staff under those establishments have been functioning without any service rules. “There is dire necessity to have a proper service rules to control, monitor and guide the officers and staff under these various establishments,” stated the notification.

In this regard, a six-member committee headed by secretary home (GAB) as chairman has been constituted to examine the draft service rules. Other members of the committee include representative from finance department, representative from law department, DRC Kolkata, DRC Delhi and representative from P&AR department as member secretary. The committee has been asked to examine the draft service rules in detail and prepare final draft service Rules within three months time. The committee has also been directed to make exercise for framing a model staffing pattern for Nagaland Houses/Medical Lodges.
