A press release from MSW student, Bosco Institute Jorhat, (Intern with CAN Youth), Putuchiba Walling stated that while expressing gratitude to DMC for approving their proposal for the paper-bag training program, proprietor of the orphanage home, Akum Amri spoke about transforming society into a peaceful environment which would further lead to the achievement of a better Nagaland. He also spoke on the pollution caused by the use of polythene bags or plastic which is hazardous to humans as well as the environment.

Amri expressed his views on the importance of training the children and how it would impact the environment at large. The training will also provide an income generation skill for the children and through it, the orphanage home will also be financially sustained, he added.

He further urged the people of Nagaland to retrospect on how they had all contributed towards the unhealthy environment. Ebenezer orphanage home also lauded CAN Youth for taking up the initiative of training people to make paper bags.
