Parent teacher association of MCK meeting

The parent-teacher association of Modern College Kohima (MCK) organized a meeting at the college premises on July 20 attended by the administrators, faculties and guardians/parents of Modern College students.

A press release from MCK stated that in the programme, college principal, Dr. H.P Singh, addressed the parents/guardians by highlighting the importance of parent’s role in the life of their wards and being proactive in their approaches. 
Dean of the college, Kaikholosü, highlighted the importance of stakeholders in all round development of the students emphasizing the role of teachers by teaching and mentoring.
An open discussion was focused on student’s specific strength and weakness in individual subjects and students discipline in classroom. Three representatives were selected among the parents/guardian namely Rikhi Rana, H. Mukam and Adaphro Chalie. The meeting was chaired by department of English, Abenla Longkumer.
