As part of the annual event, the youth department of Poumai Baptist church Kohima (PBCK) organized a “youth special Sunday” under the theme “build positive attitude” with former youth director PBCK P.H. Shesou as speaker at PBCK Midland on Sunday.

Shesou in his message encouraged the youth to walk with God in all their endeavours and be the winner in life. He challenged the congregation to let their light shine in Christ and set good examples to others. He reminded them that whoever walks faithfully and in righteousness with sincerity will achieve and shine in life.

Based from the Proverbs 20: 11, the former youth director said that a “child is known by his deeds whether he does right or wrong before God”. He encouraged the youth members to do good and right things in the Lord, and reminded them that nobody reap good harvest without sowing good seeds.

The service was led by P. Helena Rova and invocation by youth advisor, Solomon.

Special prayer for the youth was led by associate pastor D.M. Moses and offertory prayer by Kh. Sosii deacon. Scripture reading by Roziine Rose and special songs by BYF, R.R. Appollos & family, women society, skit on the topic scandal of grace by BYF were some of the activities conducted. The church members contributed free will donation for the youth bible camp on the special occasion.
