PCAN elects new office bearers

Private College Association Nagaland (PCAN) held its formal constitution programme for PCAN at Cornerstone College Dimapur (CCD) on May 18, under the motto, “Learning, sacrifice, service.”

A press release from Tetso College director, Kvulo Lorin stated that, the college management association of Nagaland had unanimously decided to form an association under the banner “Private College Association Nagaland (PCAN)” on September 8, 2018 at Immanuel College, Dimapur.  
The members are voluntary and all private colleges affiliated with Nagaland University (NU), private universities affiliated with UGC. The newly elected office bearers for PCAN for the term 2019-2022 is led by Dr. P. S . Lorin, Principal,  Tetso College,  Dimapur as president; S. P Francis, president, Governing Body, Modern Christian College, Kohima as vice president and Vezhiihii Keyho, principal, Capital College, Kohima as general secretary along with eight others. 
PCAN is a not-for-profit, voluntary, non-governmental and a non-political body committed to enhance and promote ethical practices and academic integrity in all aspect and process of educational delivery and to develop Nagaland as an educational hub.
