Petrol price hiked

Petrol prices increased for the third successive day across four major cities while diesel price remained unchanged on Saturday. After today’s price revision, the prices of petrol went up by 14 paise per litre in Delhi. In Dimapur, a litre of petrol was costing Rs. 71.74 while price of diesel stood at Rs. 63.66 per litre on Saturday. In Kohima, a litre of petrol and diesel was Rs. 72.54 and Rs.64.92 respectively. Currently, prices of petrol and diesel are reviewed by oil marketing companies on a daily basis, and any revisions are implemented at fuel stations with effect from 6 am.
