On October 13, an exposure tour to the Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Meziphema and Dream Dragon Fruit Farm (DDFF) in Shitovi village was undertaken by Peren Government College (PGC) students, enrolled in short term vocational course in Horticulture (RUSA).

A press release from PGC media cell convenor stated that proprietor of Dream Dragon Fruit Farm, Lucy, interacted with the students and encouraged them to venture into modern farming as it had great potential in Nagaland.

She also urged the students to not depend on the government for employment but start small enterprises which would eventually bring great dividends.

The 27 students were accompanied by the Dr. Katoni Jakhalu, principal PGC, Andrew, assistant professor and Machi, course tutor.
