Phek Area Mothers’ Association holds 11th general session

The 11th general session of the Phek Area Mothers’ Association (PAMA) was held on February 15 at SIRD Hall, Phek town. 

ADC Phek, Avelu Ruho, who graced the session as guest speaker, stressed on the important role of women in the community and added that women has lot of responsibility to shoulder upon and with dedication they could take the community to greater heights. 
Lauding PAMA for initiating several programme mostly for women, he urged the womenfolk to pursue things with a positive mindset and attitude in the coming days. 
Earlier, the session was chaired by PAMA vice president Nedevolu Vadeo, former PAMA president, Veshenelu invoked God’s blessings and presidential address was delivered by PAMA president, Besuvolu Venuh. Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) vice president, Ruyizolu Rhakho delivered the greetings message. Reports were presented by the general secretary and treasurer of the Association. 
Meanwhile, the association has nominated a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2019-2021. The new team will be headed by Shetalu Medeo as president, Akole Vero as vice president and four executive members. 
Around 300 delegates from 22 affiliated villages and 11 colonies of Phek town attended the session.
