PM Modi to launch BJP’s NE campaign today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will sound the poll bugle in Assam on March 30 (Saturday) as the game for the Lok Sabha thrones begins when the nation heads to the polls starting April 11.

According to Inside NE, the BJP’s star campaigner will begin the saffron party’s ‘mission Northeast’ in Assam. Modi will be attending two rallies for the Phase-I of the polls and will campaign for BJP candidates. Modi will first visit Gohpur in Tezpur Constituency to campaign for Pallab Lochan Das. Then, Modi will visit Moran to campaign for Jorhat candidate Topon Kumar Das.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit Arunachal Pradesh for campaigning purpose at Aalo in West Siang for 1 Arunachal West parliamentary constituency on March 30 and at Pasighat in East Siang for 2 Arunachal East parliamentary Constituency on April 3 respectively.

It may be mentioned that Modi’s visit will come close on the heels of BJP President Amit Shah’s visit on Thursday.
