Pathso Nokeng Students’ Union (PNSU) initiated mass social works on February 1 and 8 with the support of civil societies and Church, with an aim to clean and beautify the two graveyards of the village.

A press release by its information and publicity secretary stated that the burial sites which were shabby and covered in twigs had remained neglected for a long time.

With active community participation, the cemeteries were cleaned, demarcated and the memorial stones were rearranged with the participation of more than 400 people.

Keeping in mind the availability of limited space, the village resolved that no person would carry out concreting works inside the grave and the memorial stone would be limited within the area of 3x3 square feet.

Meanwhile, it was decided that the youth department of Pathso Nokeng Baptist Doathe would take over the responsibility of future maintenance.

Further, PNSU expressed its appreciation to all who voluntarily helped through cash, kind, and manpower.
