PNTMK career counselling program

With an aim to give the student community proper career guidance, Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me Kohima (PNTMK) (students’ union), under the aegis of Poumai Naga Union Kohima, organized a one-day career counselling program under the theme “Connecting your future” at Baptist High Higher Secondary School auditorium in Kohima on Saturday.
The resource persons of the program were, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, field officer, Sahiinii Ronald; proprietor of D/Cafe Kohima, T. Dili Khekho; probationary officer, State Bank of India, Mhalevonuo Metha; medical officer, Medical and Health Service Manipur, Dr. P. Agustine; inspector GST & Customs Government of India, Ngaoni Sezii; and assistant professor, department of Political Science St. Joseph’s College Jakhama, Dr. Kaba Daniel.
The resource persons spoke on scopes, opportunities, and methods of study. 
The shared tips and encouraged the participants on avenues in the fields of banking, commerce and industry. They also discussed basic ethics required in an entrepreneur, and branched off into many other subjects.        
The program was compeered by Veihiinai Alice; the invocation prayer said by K. Solomi Lah; a welcome address was delivered by president PNTMK, Veikho Victor; PNUK general secretary, Kh. Phoshu anchored the interaction and discussion hour with the resource persons. Special songs were presented by Pavine and Veishene & Loli. PNUK president, Shem Koh spoke the concluding remarks; a vote of thanks was proposed by general secretary PNTMK ND Stevenson and the benediction prayer was said by said K. Poune. The program was attended by hundreds of students studying in Kohima town, public leaders, well wishers, senior students and others.
