Poshan Abhiyan Convergence programme held at Chümoukedima

Officers of various departments under Chümoukedima block organised a first ever Poshan Abhiyan Convergence programme for Self-Help Groups (SHGs) at 5th Mile Model village and Diphupar A and disseminated the various schemes under their departments on July 19.

According to DIPR report, CDPO (Rural), Bonathung Ngullie apprised the members on Poshan Abhiyan, its objectives and significance of convergence and Anganwadi services. MO, Dr. Narola Toska spoke on VHSNDs, immunization and Ayushman Bharat (AB-NHPM/PMJAY). Inspector F&CS, T. Aienla on AAY& PHH under National Food Security Act. AEO School Education, Jolly Awomi on Mid-Day Meal Scheme, JE PHED, Watisangba on the importance of good hygiene and sanitation. Futhermore, PMMVY monetary benefit for first time pregnancy was highlighted by district coordinator, VizoKhanyo and assistant coordinator, Cherry Ezung. Words of encouragement and gratitude was proposed by BDO RD, Sashirenla Imchen. The programme was chaired by ADPM, NRLM DRDA, M. Yimok Phom.
