 Pow-wow 2019 Youth Festival at Tetso College was launched by guest of honour, Limasunep Jamir, commissioner of Police, Dimapur on March 7 with a total number of 28 schools and colleges participating this year. 

Pow-wow is an annual youth festival for institutes that aims to bring together students from various Institutes in India to meet, interact, compete and showcase talent in various competitions, to empower them towards lifelong excellence. The Pow-wow signature launch was signed by Dr. P.S. Lorin, principal and Limasunep Jamir followed by the oath taking. Limasunep Jamir encouraged the students to participate, engage and learn through this Fest. At the brief opening ceremony, the inaugural note was delivered by Kvulo Lorin, director, Tetso College, extending a warm welcome and thanks to the title sponsor of the event ALS, including all the other sponsors and participating colleges for bringing everyone together. Other sponsors are India Trail, Kalinga University, NIIT, DOT Talks, Aiko Arena, Ashok Leyland, Baskin Robbins, Brand New Days, Camp David, Favours, Fusion, Fun Cinemas, G Sports, Ilandlo, Kaziranga University, Mountain Music Academy, Nagaland Today, The People Channel, Rusoki, SmartLife Gym, Synergy Systems, Tinted Lights, Universal Power Solutions and Youthnet. 

Day 1 of the Fest kicked off with the traditional dance competition that brought to life both tradition and creativity, followed by Cosplay. In the extempore speech, students were tested on their knowledge as they spoke on a range of topics.  In sports and gaming, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, mobile legends and Pub G are all off to a great start to continue on into March 8 and 9 for the overall championship trophy of Pow-wow 2019. Closing award ceremony is scheduled to be held on March 9, 2 pm with Kevekha Kevin Zehol, deputy commissioner Dimapur as the guest of honour.
