Power department bids farewell

Department of Power, Nagaland held a farewell program for outgoing chief engineer (distribution & revenue) Er. Khose Sale on April 2. 

A press release from engineer-in-chief, Er. Ghukhuyi Chishi stated that in his farewell address, Er. Khose Sale reiterated concerns and spoke about the way forward for the department touching upon all the sectors under the Power department, such as transmission, generation, distribution and revenue. He also expressed confidence that the department was in good hands given the quality of engineers in the department and wished the incumbent the best. 

Er. Keviletuo Yiese, incoming chief engineer (D&R), expressed gratitude for the support and guidance rendered to him during their long years of association in the department. L. Kire, principal secretary, spoke on the occasion and lauded Er. Sale for his commendable services to the department and the state. Er. TS Angami also recounted some episodes from their acquaintance. Commissioner & secretary (Power & IT), KD Vizo commended Er. Sale for his competency and expressed gratitude to him for serving the department with unwavering dedication.

Speaking on behalf of the Association of Power Engineers Nagaland (APEN), Er. Penrithung Yanthan lauded the outgoing chief engineer on having completed his career successfully and Er. Moa Aier, SE (revenue), read farewell messages from the Power advisor, chief secretary, REC, and PGCIL. 

Er. Khose Sale entered service in the year 1984, and since then has held various posts till attaining the post of Chief Engineer (P). 

The program was chaired by Er. Ghukhuyi Chishi and a vote of thanks was delivered by Er. Indianoba Tally.

Others who attended the program were Er. T S Angami, chairman NPSC; Er. Imlikumzuk Ao, chairman Nagaland Electricity Regulatory Commission; Er. I.V Chishi, chief electrical inspector; officers, staff of Power department and other well wishers.
