PSUN & JSUN on strict compliance of SOP

Peren Students’ Union Nagaland (PSUN) and Jalukie Students’ Union Nagaland (JSUN) have expressed concern at the public rally held in Peren and Jalukie towns on June 23 and 24 respectively, where all norms and directives of government laid down Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) were violated.

A press release by JSUN president Imzui Hingleu and vice president Agumbe Nring along with PSUN assembly secretaries Joseph Ndang and Ketaleuluing Sephe stated that, the welfare and safety of the whole community must be the top priority and utmost concern of any matured and responsible NGOs/CSOs and not jeopardizing it. 

In this regard, the two student bodies have earnestly appealed to all the public, CSOs to observe and sincerely follow SOP for the well-being of everyone and requested the concerned government authority to strictly implement the SOP. It also asked that relevant action be taken under section of law upon any violators of the SOP in order to safeguard the vulnerable populace from the deadly pandemic.
