PTA conducted at Immanuel College

The 6th Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting of Immanuel College (IC) for degree students was held on August 18 at the college conference hall.

A press release from IC media cell convener, Akutu Poireng stated that, the objective of the meeting was to encourage good relations between the teachers and parents, to communicate with them the areas the students were excelling in and give specific ideas on how to improve the students’ performance. The meeting also emphasized on the importance of the role of both parents and teachers in moulding the students for their future. The program was chaired by Vepu, assistant professor of Botany; invocation was said by Imjungla Imchen assistant professor of History; a welcome address was delivered by TH Sharatchandra Singh, principal, Immanuel College followed by an interactive session. Vote of thanks was given by Shumbenthung Odyuo assistant professor of Zoology.
