PTCSU raises poor telecom network issue

 Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) has expressed dismay over poor telecom network at Phek town adding that it has adversely affected the online classes and examinations.

In a press release, Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union president, Surhoveyi Khesoh and press secretary, Diezekho Vadeo stated that the government and the public are putting all efforts to bring quality education in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.
Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union then said, “education courses cannot be compromised nor jeopardized ignorantly just because of weak network connectivity”.
Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union said the manager, proprietor in-charge of Phek Town Jio/Airtel service provider was “best known for such failure and negligence”.
Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union claimed that despite repeated reminders, the service providers have not improve the quality adding that such delay has put the students’ career at risk.
Further, the union has asked the state government to take note of the issue and deliver justice to the students.
