Pfutsero Town Mothers’ Association (PTMA) has vehemently condemned the March 12 incident where it alleged that one Vibi Mero, LDA, assaulted EAC Sakraba, Abeinuo Jasmine.

In a condemnation note, PTMA president, Zhonelii Tunyi and general secretary, Sarhu Letro said the association learnt that Mero was indulging in “deducting” certain amount from BLOs remuneration. However, when the EAC intervened, PTMA said Vibi allegedly assaulted the officer.

PTMA described Abeinuo as a “dedicated and respectable lady officer” and expressed deep pain that she was threatened and assaulted by a male staff.

Further, PTMA has urged the concerned authority to award befitting punishment for the crime committed.
