PVC celebrates establishment day

Peren Model Village (PMV) celebrated its 21st establishment day at the council hall on May 17. It may be noted that Peren Model village is an offshoot of Old Peren village and situated 15 km away from Old Peren. 

The establishment programme was honoured by secretary, Peren Council, Dr. Ndangkie Ndang as special guest. 
The special guest exhorted the villagers to take advantage of its fertile land and encouraged them to go for large scale organic farming. 
Words of solidarity was delivered by Daurai Hega while the programme was chaired Paunam Mark Ndang, secretary Peren Model Village. After the formal function the council held its general session-cum-election and elected new office bearers led by Paunam Mark Ndang as chairman, Haisopi Hage as secretary, Atip Zelui as treasurer and others. 
A committee of reorganisation of PVC was also formed with Dr Ndangkie Ndang as convenor and Sorei Gongdui and Nchihei Herie as members.
