PYO issues guidelines

Peraciezie Youth organization (PYO). ward no. 1, Kohima  has issued several guidelines for the health and well being of general public and for strict adherence under its jurisdiction. 

In a press release president, PYO, Kevisetso and secretary, Khriesakeduo, stated that open defecation has been prohibited and every toilet should have proper septic tanks attached, with proper maintenance with no leakages. 
It stated that draining and releasing of toilet septic tanks into rivers and drainage has also been prohibited, and residents were advised to avail cesspool vehicle service for emptying septic tanks. In places where there is no road connectivity, residents have been asked to contact PYO executives. PYO warned that non adherence to the mentioned guidelines will attract a penalty of Rs. 10,000. 
The organisation also advised the business establishments to maintain hygiene and sanitation, inside and outside their shops and compulsorily clean the vicinity of their shops every morning and evening and place waste bin outside their shops. In the event of failing to comply, a penalty of Rs. 500 will be imposed for first instance and severe penalties thereafter, the release stated. 
PYO has also prohibited throwing garbage in open or into drainage and rivers. It warned that defaulters will be imposed Rs. 1000 for the first instance followed by severe penalties thereafter.
