Reorientation meeting on PM-JAY held in Mokokchung

Reorientation meeting on Ayushman Bharat: Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) health scheme was conducted at chief medical officer (CMO) conference hall, Mokokchung on November 20. 

A press release by DPMU, NRHM Mokokchung stated that, Dr. R. Chubala Aier encouraged participants to actively participate in the Ayushman Bharat health care service.

District coordinator Limatenzuk (AB-PMJAY) presented powerpoint on Ayushman Bharat and its key features. He stated that AB-PMJAY was the world largest insurance/assurance scheme fully financed by the government and was a cashless access to health care services for the beneficiary at the point of service in the hospital. He also explained about district wise number of individual card issues and ECHP performance. Programme was attended by the nodal officer in-charge of AB-PMJAY and Ayushman Mitra of the empanelled hospitals of Mokokchung. Another training was conducted on November 21 at CMO conference hall, Mokokchung. 

SMOs, MOs and ASHA coordinators were trained on NCD population based screening. The programme was chaired by deputy chief medical officer, Dr. Kibangkumba, where he briefed about the NCD screening at block level. Dr. Kilangwabang trained the trainees on community based assessment checklist (CBAC) for early detection of NCDs & tuberculosis (TB).
