RFS Phek observes 20th foundation day

Royal Foundation School (RFS) Phek, observed it’s 20th Foundation Day at the school premises on April 27.

The school, in a press release said that DP Yadav, senior most teacher of the school, in his speech, encouraged the students to live up to the spirit of the name of the school and stressed on the need to build a royal foundation in schooling. He expressed gratitude to Dr K. Hoshi, proprietor & managing director of the school for establishing the school which, Yadav said, had been the need of the hour then. Yadav also also acknowledged both past and present school authorities, teachers and pupils for their immense contributions towards the success of the school. Dr K. Hoshi, in his address, said the school was started on April 27, 1999 with a mission to impart quality education and to fulfil educational needs of the people within the vicinity.

Preparations are underway to upgrade the school to a Higher Secondary school for the 2020-21 session. The function was chaired by Hushe Vero of class 10; Zhozo of class 9 read from Scripture; and students of class 10 presented a special number. Zave-u Lasuh of class 9 delivered a tribute speech.
