The “Know your rights and entitlement awareness campaign” was officially launched at Kohima Law College (KLC) by professor-in-charge & president Nagaland Voluntary Consumers’ Organisation (NVCO), Kezhokhoto Savi on July 13.
A press release from NVCO media cell stated that, the campaign was launched to create more awareness in society. Kezhokhoto Savi touched briefly on each topic and while talking about the importance of implementing Lokayukta and addressing illegal taxation & illegal collection of cash on the highways in Nagaland, Savi on behalf of NVCO refuted and denied the statement, “we informed the central government about it and it has asked the national investigation agency to investigate” which was published in a magazine called ‘The Week’. He asserted that the NVCO had at no point of time informed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the summoning of the former chief minister T.R. Zeliang or others by the NIA. Each student of the final year LL.B were allotted time to present a topic of their choice.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
