Wokha Village Council (WVC) while appreciating the Union Ministry of National Highways and the state government for sanctioning the road widening work from Km. 83.00 to Km. 101.00 on NH-61, has warned the bidders not to bid below the scheduled of rate (SoR), which would result in compromising the quality work.

The work will be for widening of existing single/intermediate lane road to two lane.

In this regard, WVC chairman S. Yanphamo Tungoe and secretary Zuchanbemo Kithan warned that any bidder bidding below SoR and deviating from the approved bill of quantity (BoQ) and approved design/specifications, will not be tolerated and may be banished from its jurisdiction.
