Rotary Club Dimapur organises blood donation camp

To commemorate the its 50th year celebration, Rotary club Dimapur (RID 3240) in association with IndusInd bank and Dimapur District Hospital blood bank organised a voluntary blood donation camp Saturday at Durga Mandir, Dimapur. 

During the drive, District Hospital Dimapur blood bank in-charge, Dr. Temsu said that due to pandemic and despite the lockdown, the blood bank continued to function and a few thousand of blood units were collected during that time.

Meanwhile, club president, Kitoshi Zhimomi in her brief remark said that donating blood was equal to saving lives and that the lives of the donors would be saved tomorrow by others. She was also optimistic that the club would take up such initiatives even in the days to come.

Altogether 50 units of blood banks were collected.
