RUB celebrates first freshers’ meet

Rengma Union Bangalore (RUB) celebrated its first fresher’s meet on August 24, at Eljireh House Koramangala, Bangalore.

A press release by RUB stated that the event was attended by Naga Students Union Bangalore (NSUB) executives and its sub-unit bodies and representative from My Home India.

The speaker for the event, Khontele Seb, encouraged the fresher’s and the people present to make God their first priority. She further emphasized on having faith and hope and never giving up.

The president of RUB, Sotilo Seb, welcomed the freshers and the guest. He also asked the freshers to keep in touch with the union and get themselves registered so that the RUB would be able to take responsibility whenever they faced any problems. He also added a brief overview of how RUB was formed.

Naga Students Union Bangalore (NSUB) president, Nuthipru Nienu, gave the freshers advice and shared lessons from his life experiences. He also encouraged the RUB to continue growing with much enthusiasm.

Earlier, invocation prayer was pronounced by Crossword Church, Bangalore pastor Caleb Kent, followed by a song by RUB general secretary Haisen Apon, Mary Kath offered a prayer for the freshers. The program was further followed by a speech on behalf of freshers by Nendi Seb and more special numbers.

Later, vote of thanks and benediction prayer was pronounced by RUB treasure George Seb.
