Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho (SAH) has appealed for congenial atmosphere so that lasting peace could prevail in the region.

In a statement SAH president, Inavi Swu and general secretary, Ghuzui Shohe while welcoming the outcome of the talks between NSCN (I-M) and the government of India, said that the Hoho always believed in the wisdom of the negotiating parties for peaceful solution to the Naga problem and expressed appreciation to the working committee of NNPGs, NGOs, various tribal hohos and RN Ravi, the governor of Nagaland and representative of the government of India for bringing the talks to a logical conclusion.
Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho further appealed to the people of the North Eastern states like Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh to understand that if peace prevails in Nagaland the fruit of peace will also be enjoyed in their state.
It therefore appealed particularly the “NGOs of Manipur not to polarise the society on tribal line or cast to create more problems but be sensible to create congenial atmosphere for lasting peace in the region.”
