Sakhi-One Stop Centre Kohima holds district task force meeting

District Task Force Committee (DTFC) on One Stop Centre (OSC) Kohima held a review meeting on the activities of the centre and Women Helpline- 181 at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kohima on June 25.

The purpose of the meeting was to appraise the services of Sakhi-One Stop Centre and Women Helpline-181. 

A press release from Sakhi-One Stop Centre, Kohima Centre administrator, Toli Assumi, stated that the meeting was chaired by the DC Kohima Anoop Kinchi, chairperson of the District Task Force Committee, Sakhi-One Stop Centre. 

Activities and review of cases was presented by OSC and WHL-181. 

DC appreciated the good team work and effort of OSC and WHL-181 and further urged them to create more awareness to the mass populace. DC also called for organising workshop on one stop centre for the doctors and nurses at the district hospital to strengthen convergence with the health department. 

The meeting was attended by the representatives from the converging departments and stakeholders.

Sakhi-One Stop Centre is the initiative of the Ministry of women and Child Development, Government of India to provide integrated response and support to women affected by violence. The State Resource Centre for women is the Nodal agency to implement OSC &181. OSC is integrated with Women Helpline -181.
