The triennial women conference of the Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK)-Aizuto held at Yezashi Village Baptist Church under the theme “Be reconciled with God” concluded on December 8 with advisor, Food and Civil Supplies, Legal Metrology and Consumers Protection, Taxes, government of Nagaland Pukhayi Sumi as the guest speaker for the event.

A press release from media supervisor ZTSBC, Bombo K Yeptho stated that speaker Pukhayi Sumi in his address pointed out that everyone wants to live happy and prosperous life, however, most of them were not leaving a God pleasing life. He challenged that congregation to produce good seeds for better generation. 

Lamenting on the life lived by their own standard as the sole cause of problem, he mentioned that they are missing to live according to the standard set by God for every believers. 

He further quoted that behind every successful man, there was a woman behind him and also stated that it was far more beneficial to educate one female child than to educate ten male children.

Exhorting the women folks at the culmination programme, the speaker urged them to be true to one self. Also delivering a message to Sumi community in general, he said that there was a reward for all those who earn their livelihood through honest and faithful means. 

Executive Secretary, Rev. Mulato Chishi delivered the message on the theme “Be Reconcile with God”.
