SBI informs customers

The State Bank of India (SBI) has informed the customers of SBI Dimapur branch that the entrance to the branch has been diverted to Highway side through Treasury branch due to restriction along the road leading to COVID-19 hospital. 

While advising the customers to avoid rush hours in the morning and during first week of the month, Besii Bosco, assistant general manager, SBI Dimapur Branch has also requested all to maintain physical distance while in queue, to wear face cover and to wash hands before entering the banking hall. 

The bank has also encouraged the customers to use ATM facilities for cash withdrawal. Even if customers does not have ATM card, cash can be withdrawn from ATM through YONO CASH by using mobile app YONO SBI, it informed. 

Further, customers have been requested to avoid coming to the bank for less important work such as balance enquiry, passbook update, account statement, etc. For such requirement, customers can use SMS banking which can be registered by sending SMS from registered mobile REG<space>account number to 09223488888. After registering, for balance enquiry- SMS BAL to 09223766666, for mini statement- SMS MSTMT to 09223866666 and for cheque book request- SMS CHQREQ to 09223588888. 

It has also advised the customers to use online banking for safety and convenience. For this, they can register themselves “YONO SBI” without coming to the bank which will simultaneously provide both internet banking as well as mobile banking facilities.
