SCERT Nagaland encourages using ETBS

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Nagaland has informed that schools textbooks for Classes 5 to 8 are mostly energized Textbooks (ETBs) and has encouraged students, teachers and parents to use this medium to enrich the teaching-learning process for achieving better learning outcomes

In a press release, SCERT Nagaland director, Thejakrielie Sekhose said SCERT schools textbooks are mostly ETBs through the insertion of QR codes places at chapter levels as well as at difficult concept locations.
Sekhose informed that video, audio content relating to explanation and exercises based on the topic placed in these QR codes. 
He said these contents will help to enrich learning for the students, teachers and parents especially when there is the requisite need for self-study habits to be inculcated at this present point of time.
He informed that these contents can be accessed in two ways: 
i. Using textbooks: By downloading the apps for Classes 5&^ for which instructions are printed in the textbooks.
ii. Through SCERT Nagaland landing page (www.diksha.gov.in/nl/)
a. Once you get to the landing page, click on the right corner of this icon  if you are using mobile phone
b. Choose the “Explore DIKSHA-NAGALAND” option. This will directly take you to the virtual Energized textbooks
c. Click on the desired textbooks, class wise and access the contents as per the subject listed.
