SCMN organizes Yatra to Guwahati

Seemanta Chetana Mancha Nagaland (SCMN), founded for development of international border areas of Nagaland, organized a “Bharat Darshan Yatra 2019” to Guwahati from March 19 to 21.

A press release from SCMN general secretary, Thsapikyu C stated that, the tour comprised of 49 delegates from Noklak, Mon, Phek & Kiphire districts and they met the governor of Assam, professor Jagdish Mukhi, chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and a host of other ministers to discuss development and strengthening borders. 
The tour was organized by Nagaland state and headed by Thsapikyu C and executive members and was supported by the North East Committee, and it also visited historical landmarks in Guwahati. 
A convention has also been planned for April 26 to 27 in Kohima, and all executive committees have been requested to a meeting on April 6 at  2:30 pm at its treasurer’s residence.
