Sechü Zubza on top of KFL-2 table

Sechü Zubza FC remained at the top of Kohima Football League-2 points table while Ziekezou SC are in second position.

Playing the first match of the 9th round, Ziekezou SC defeated Khriekesa FC Meriema 2-1. Ziekezou SC took the lead through the boot of Vilhoubeituo Yhome in the 3rd minute. The equalizer for Khriekesa FC was scored by Vimelie Chasie in the 13th minute.
The second goal for Ziekezou SC was scored by skipper Neikethozo Yhome in the 86th minute. 
Three players- Neilabeituo Shiiya and Kekhriese Ciesotsu both from Khriekesa FC Meriema and Mhasibeituo Yhome from Ziekezou SC were cautioned for unsporting behaviour. 
In second match, Sechü Zubza FC thrashed Vanguard FC Tseminyu by 6 – 2.  The first goal for Sechü Zubza FC was scored by Khiuwangbo Kaurintah in the 5th minute. Noune Medoze doubled the score in the 8th minute. Shiirhosiil Zhotso and Petevizo Kezieo scored the 3rd and 4th goal in the 38th and 41st minute respectively for Sechü Zubza.  After the breather, Vanguard FC skipper, Yhunshalo Kemp scored in the 50th minute to make it 4-1. Matthew Kezhose scored the second goal in the 70th minute. However, Hanglen Chang and Aloumei Panmei of Sechü Zubza found the net in the 84th and  93rd minute respectively to take the scoreline to 6-2.  
Sechü Zubza FC are at the top of the points table with 20 points. 
Sebastian Rasmusen, international coach from Sweden attended the match as special guest. He is currently coaching under-17 boys at IG Stadium, Meriema.
