 The second day of Angami Sekreneyi mini Hornbill festival celebrating with the theme “Restoring Values” witnessed the cultural extravaganza night held at Khuochiezie (local ground) Kohima on Wednesday night. In traditional tati (single stringed) song competition, Northern Angami Students’ Union bagged the first prize, second prize was bagged by Western Angami Students’ Union and third prize was bagged by Southern Angami Students’ Union. 

The prizes for the winners were given away by special guest, Thinuokhrielie Yaotsu proprietor M/s, T. Albert Angami & co.  

The Act “Themia puo kelhou” which was translated to “virtues of a human life” was presented by the Kohima village students’ union drama club depicting about how “Sekrenyi” is celebrated, being passed on from one generation to the other.  

Thirty models walked the ramp with their traditional attires and ethnic designer show designed by Keneisenuo Dzüvichü, Japuno Zinyü, Aso Tsürho, Kedorovino Punyü, Kevibeinuo Tseikha and  Neisavonuo Rüpreo. The festival also added more colours with special appearance in traditional attire by Ruopfüzhano Whiso, FBB colors Femina Miss India Nagaland 2018, Vikuonuo Sachü Miss Nagaland 2019 and Mr. Kohima 2019, Kevingunyü Mere.

The crowd was also enthralled by special songs and others items.
