Seminar on ‘senior citizens helpline’ held in Kohima

Good Samaritan Women Society in collaboration with state government and ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment conducted a ten-day seminar for “senior citizens helpline” at Meriema, Kohima from the January 5 to January 16.

According to DIPR report, the training was conducted by consultants of National Helpline for Senior Citizens (NHSC) and National Institute of Social Defence (NISD) Delhi.

Earlier, a function was also held at Old Age Home, Meriema, graced by secretary, Medoselhou Keretsu and treasurer, K Seyie from the Senior Citizens Association (SCA), Nagaland. 

The resource persons included Arjun Ganta, Kishore Kumar, Anand K M, Shanti Vemuri, Sunjib Rana, Viphreno Nakhro, Satahi Shijoh and Jyothi.
