Send-off service for late prof. Alexander

The send-off service for late Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University Nagaland, Prof. C.P. Alexander, who passed away on November 21 in Dimapur, was held university premises on Friday. 

Dignitaries, faculty, head GB of Sovima Village, the Patkai community, the Kerala Samajam Dimapur, students and alumni paid homage to the departed soul. His mortal remains were taken to his hometown in Kerala.

Nukhu condoles: Former MLA, Deo Nukhu has mourned the demise of Prof Charles P. Alexander whom he described as his great academic friend for the last decade. In a condolence note, Nukhu said late Alexander was an eminent academician who devoted wholly for the cause of higher education in Nagaland. Nukhu recalled that his association with late Alexander and described him as a good friend of both young and old and his untimely and sudden demise has created a great vacuum to fill up, particularly for ICFAI University and a loss for Naga society and the country.
