Sensitization programme held for EAC probationers

The Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides (NSBSG) organized a sensitization programme for 2018 EAC probationers about scouting/guiding movement at the conference hall Life Members Building, Bayavii Hill, Kohima on Saturday. 
This is the first time such a programme is being organized to instill in the officers about the fundamentals and activities involved in the worldwide movement.
Three members reaffirmed their scout/guide promises while other eight were inducted as members. Earlier, Atuo Mezhiir Sekhose, state chief commissioner NSBSG highlighted the noble movement of Bharat Scouts & Guides and welcomed EAC probationers to the programme. 
Altogether11 EAC probationers attended the programme. Scouting/guiding is a voluntary, non-political, educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed, in accordance with the purpose, principles and methods conceived by the founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907.
